Rhodochrosite with Fluorite, Tetrahedrite, and Quartz

Specimen Locality: Sweet Home Mine, Alma, Park County, Colorado

Mineral Description: This one has just about everything you want in a multi-mineral specimen. The matrix is largely tetrahedrite with what appears to be minor galena and pyrite. This is dusted with microquartz crystals, translucent fluorites, and several gemmy rhodochrosites. The largest rhodochrosite crystal is just under a cm. Great condition other than a small bruised area towards lower right. Height: 7.8 Width: 6.2 Depth: 2.5 cm
