Specimen Locality: Cavnic, Maramures, Romania

Mineral Description: A matrix of mixed pyrite and sphalerite hosts dozens of terminated clear to milky quartz crystals. Excellent condition with only one tipped quartz crystal along the far right edge, which could very easily be trimmed off. From the F. Walzel collection, mined circa 1969-1970.
