Specimen Locality: Alcam amethyst Mine, Dursunbey District., Balikesir Province, Turkey

Mineral Description: A cluster of very deep purple amethyst with color simialr to the fine Uruguay amethysts. The back of the specimen is interesting also as it appears to be formed over either gypsum or calcite which has since dissolved away. Sawn base for nice display. Height: 10 Width: 8 Depth: 4.5 cm
