Specimen Locality: Mirzapur, Maharashtra, India

Mineral Description: A thin plate of basalt matrix covered with orangish-red heulandite crystals and several crystals of apophyllite. These are nearly covered with dozens of leaf-calcites. If you look closely at the calcites, you can see that they have a fantastic morphology and nice stair-stepped faces. Height: 7.5 Width: 5 Depth: 3.5 cm
