Specimen Locality: DalNegorsk, DalNegorsk Urban District, Primorskiy Kray, Russia

Mineral Description: This is a really interesting specimen consisting of multi-generational calcite growth. The first generation consists of elongated terminated pencil-lead diameter calcites growing from a common base and spreading out slightly as they grew up. These are then coated in a stepped fashion with a secondary growth of flattened scalenohedrons. Excellent condition. Mined in 1999. Height: 11 Width: 3.5 Depth: 2.5 cm
