Specimen Locality: Huanggang Mine, Hexigten, Chifeng Prefecture, Inner Mongolia, China

Mineral Description: This specimen is from a new in June, 2014. Many vivid indigo bluefluorite crystals on tiny, spiky, milky quartz crystals that completely cover an earlier phase of larger, colorless, transparent, prismatic quartz crystals. The fluorites are cubic with complex modifications giving them a rounded appearance. The main fluorite crystal measures 2.8 x 2.5 x 2.4 cm in size and is aesthetically perched on the tip of the tallest quartz crystal. Overall in excellent condition and uncommon deep blue color for fluorite. Height: 10.7 Width: 8.8 Depth: 6.9 cm
