Specimen Locality: Kelly Mine, Magdalena, New Mexico

Mineral Description: From the collection of Gary R. Weaver, this is a very nice multi-generational smithsonite specimen. The core is botryoidal smithsonite (possibly with some chrysocolla). This is coated with more lustrous smithsonite and a final generation of rice-gran smithsonites. Excellent miniature! Height: 5.5 Width: 5 Depth: 2.5. cm
