Specimen Locality: Huanggang Mine, Hexigten, Chifeng Prefecture, Inner Mongolia, China

Mineral Description: This specimen is from a find in June, 2014. Many vivid indigo blue fluorite crystals on tiny, spiky, milky quartz crystals that completely cover an earlier phase of larger, colorless, transparent, prismatic quartz crystals. The fluorites are cubic with complex modifications giving them a rounded appearance. The largest fluorite crystal measures 1.75 cm across. Uncommon deep blue color for fluorite. No damage.
