Specimen Locality: Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee

Mineral Description: A pair of glassy, lustrous, light golden-colored, doubly-terminated, twinned scalenohedral Calcite crystals. Almost a complete floater with only one small point of attachment on the back of the specimen. Typical of many of these, one crystal termination has a small chip on the back side which is out of sight when the specimen is viewed from the display side. All of the other terminations and crystals are undamaged. Height: 11.2 Width: 6 Depth: 5.5 cm
