Specimen Locality: Lecanto Mine, Citrus County, Florida

Mineral Description: A nice cluster of golden calcites which formed as part of a “cave-ribbon” of calcite in a small cavity in a limestone quarry. This was collected in the 1980s by Tom Scott. He superglued the specimens to an acrylic base. The white spot is white-out where he was going to write a specimen number. Dimensions: 9 x 4 x 2.5 cm
