Specimen Locality: Daye Mine, Hubei Province, China

Mineral Description: A group of lustrous, translucent calcites with nice zonings and phantoms. The core (first generation) calcite were white, followed by an overgrowth of zoned orangish-brown calcite. The color is likely due to iron oxide inclusions (hematite). Height: 8.5 Width: 6 Depth: 4 cm
