Specimen Locality: Joplin, Missouri

Mineral Description: A very large crystal of sphalerite (3.5 cm wide) sits perched on a matrix of light pink saddleback dolostone crystals and gray, massive dolostone. There are numerous smaller crystals of sphalerite and minor chalcopyrite associated with the specimen as well. Great condition. Height: 4.5 Width: 4 Depth: 3 cm
