Mineral Description: From this historic European lead-silver mining area that closed over 100 years ago, this is a classic siderite specimen consisting of sharp, lustrous, translucent, olive-brown colored, rhombohedral crystals to 1.8 cm across. Some of the siderites have a coating of tiny, colorless scalenohedral calcite crystals. There is some periphery wear on the right side but it does not detract much.
