Specimen Locality: Poteryaevskoe Mine, block 6-1, Rubtsovskoe deposit, Rudnyi Altai, Altaiskii Krai, Western Siberia, Russia

Mineral Description: Matrix completely covered on one side by fine, very bright blue azurite crystals with minor malachite and aggregates of small yellow, cubic miersite crystals. Miersite is a rare silver and copper iodide species. This is the first association of azurite with miersite that I know of. In excellent condition. Height: 4.6 Width: 3.6 Depth: 2 cm
