Specimen Locality: Kimbanga District, M’Fouati District, Democratic Republic of Congo

Mineral Description: A dioptase-filled vug in a matrix of plancheite and calcite. The calcite is highly fluorescent under UV light. The specimen is much better than the photos show. The largest dioptase is 1.4 cm long and doubly terminated. Height: 4 Width: 6 Depth: 9 cm
