Specimen Locality: Starr Mine, Katanga Copper Crescent, Katanga (Shaba) Province, Democratic Republic of Congo

Mineral Description: A large piece of matrix coated with botryoidal and highly lustrous chrysocolla. The chrysocolla is coated on one side with botryoidal, lustrous deep blue cornetite. This specimen is one of a few that I scored in Denver two years ago. It have been in the miner’s shed for decades and was recently uncovered. Hard to come by now. Height: 16 Width: 8 Depth: 3.5 cm
