Specimen Locality: Wagholi Quarry, Pune District, Maharashtra, India

Mineral Description: Beautiful bright blue cluster of cavansite crystals measuring 1.5 cm across on a basalt matrix with minor white stilbite crystals. A colorful and attractive specimen in very good condition. Cavansite is a rare calcium vanadium silicate and was only discovered within the last 50 years. By far the best specimens come from the famous zeolite quarries in India. Height: 5.5 Width: 4.2 Depth: 3.2 cm
