Specimen Locality: Cavnic, Maramures, Romania

Mineral Description: A large plate of granitic matrix with dozens of terminated smoky quartz crystals covering the top side. The quarz crystals are in very good shape with only a couple of broken crystal. These are not readily apparent. There is a secondary off-white calcite growth covering many of hte crystal faces. Height: 20 Width: 13 Depth: 5.5 cm
