Mineral Description: A fine example of a calcite-filled clam shell (Mercenaria sp.) from this world-famous locality. The calcites formed by dissolution of in the deposit that re-precipitated as golden calcite inside voids in closed clam shells. The calcites are deep-rich golden color and fluoresce and phosphoresce!
