Mineral Description: A really interesting specimen of glassy calcite scalenohedrons which grow up and down from a thin plate of milky calcite. The plate of calcite likely formed as a crust along the fluid level in a pocket. After this, the pocket filled with more fluid and allowed crystallization of calcites both up and down from the crust. Fluorescent. Excellent condition and very nearly a floater. Height: 8.5 Width: 6.5 Depth: 6 cm
