Specimen Locality: Malbunka Copper Mine, Areyonga, Northern Territory, Australia

Mineral Description: A group of flattened azurite disks (suns) in a kaolinite matrix. These form along bedding planes in the siltstone. Minor damage to the upper sun, but it seems to add a bit of character to the specimen, making the grouping look a bit like a petroglyph. Height: 8.5 Width: 8.3 Depth: 3 cm
